This Thursday the 2nd of December sees the launch of East End Prints at the East London Design show at Shoreditch town hall. Swiftly followed by a pop-up print shop at Maiden on shoreditch high street. My work is available along side that of 40 other emerging and established artists and designers. Unfortunately I won't be there in person as I am now in the snowy north, semi nomadic and semi hibernating. But if you're in London this weekend go along and check it out and start your christmas shopping!

This week was opening of Will Barras' new solo show "Bad Reception" at StolenSpace gallery.

The end of a very busy two weeks arrived last night with the opening of 'Wild Fantasies-A decade of Don't Panic! posters' at Stolen Space gallery. I was part of the Stolen Space crew hand screen printing 10 limited edition posters being sold 'blind tubed' on the night. £50 a pop an they all sold. The best part is that I got to meet Mike Ramsden from BBC London News. Amazing! The Old Vic Theatre's 'Dark Carnival: Notes from the Underground' was a sell-out success. So sorry if you didn't manage to get to see it. Well done if you did. My work was situated in the middle tunnel with the bar (always a winner) sharing space with Ignore the forecast and their Tree of Lost things.

The Badd News Boys and Good Time Gals sat really nicely amongst the cafe tables and hundreds of luggage tags hanging from the ceiling.

Ignore the Forecast invited everyone to add a luggage tag detailing something they had lost, they then logged it in a MASSIVE book and hung it with the countless other lost items. I was fortunate enough to receive a found marble in return for participating, a nice green one which really did take the edge off. thanks guys. There were lots of other things to see in the dark and gloomy tunnels, cabaret, films, theatre and dance. Congrats to everyone involved!

I have spent most of today in the dark, beneath London's Waterloo train station. The Old Vic Theatre has asked me to contribute some of my work to their 'Dark Carnival: Notes from the underground' event this Friday and Saturday.

Dark Carnival is an exciting cross art form celebration of what is best and most innovative about London, and indeed International, performance and art.

The Old Vic Tunnels will be host to a Carnival complete with a small cinema, art gallery, performances from the theatre world, cabaret, circus and music, and interactive installations. All simultaneously fusing a sound and sight spectacular. What will you see?

If you can't make it along, don't worry, I'll post some photos of what went down next week.

Friday night saw the opening reception of 'The next generation' exhibition at the London Miles Gallery. Along the side the 12x12 inch masterpieces on display was a cardboard box sculpture featuring boxes designed and painted by emerging artists, including me. You can see my little blue number right there at the top. Good times

I have just got home from the private view of 'Carry on Capital' a group exhibition at Vincent Van Scoff featuring my work. The charity auction at the Special Yoga centre in London is looming on the horizon, The tickets are £20 and we need to sell 150. The ticket price includes plenty of christmas cocktails, preview of the exhibition and print room, and auction by Francis Outred, European Head of Post-War & Contemporary Art at Christie's.

‘Watch This Space’ Young and Emerging Artists Charity auction
at The Special Yoga Centre

Over the past 3 years, The Special Yoga centre has hosted charity art auctions of artworks by some of the country’s most celebrated contemporary Artists including; Damien Hirst, Sam Taylor-Wood, Peter Blake, Marc Quinn, Ollly & Suzi and Natasha Law. The last auction, introduced by Samantha Cameron, and hosted by Gabbi Roslin, raised a staggering £100,000, even more amazing since this event took place in the midst of an economic downturn. A Christie’s auctioneer auctioned off some exquisite pieces, including a spot painting and etchings by Hirst.

The success of these auctions was the catalyst for an auction that champions the next generation of YBA’s. On November 26, arts organisation ‘Watch This Space’, who curate exhibitions of talented emerging Artists, will organise the first Special Yoga Centre auction of young artists. This will not only give collectors a chance to discover some hot new artists, and support their practice by purchasing their work, it will also raise much needed funds for the Special Yoga Centre.

Yoga expert and co-author of ‘The Spiritual Teachings of Yoga’ Jo Manuel founded the Special Yoga Centre in 2004 as a charitable organization supporting children with a variety of conditions, which can be aided by the practice of yoga. Children with Down’s syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism, epilepsy, ADD, ADHD and other physical and developmental difficulties all benefit from the expert teaching offered at the Special Yoga Centre, whose policy is to offer yoga to all without regard to financial or cultural constraints. Children from all walks of life, including the late son of shadow Prime Minister David Cameron, have benefited from the care and teaching of the Special Yoga Centre.

Artists featuring in the auction will include; Andrew Campbell, Ann-Marie James, Arran Gregory, Ben Jenkins, Best One, Cereinyn Ord, Daisy de Villeneuve, Elliott Young, Epoh Beech, Eugene Wood, Graham Hudson, Harry Malt, Ilaria Conte, Izzie Klingels, Jim Cooper, Julie Umerle, Kevin Fitzpatrick, Konrad Wyrebek, Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry & Peter Harris, Lee Jones, Louise Richardson, Mat Pringle, Matilda Temperley, Max Parsons, Monkey Punch III, Niall O’Brien, Nick Cunard, Nick Jensen, Peter Edwards, Ricky Adam, Robin Clare, Sam Szulc, Sarah Cooney, Sarah Kate Wilson, Sara le Roy, Sky Sharrock, Sohrab and Suzie Wright.

An Auctioneer from one of the leading Auction Houses will take the auction, with a special celebrity host getting the crowd going. Therefore this event provides an excellent opportunity for collectors to discover exciting young Artists. It will also aid the career of these young Artists (who will receive a percentage of the proceeds), and allow the Special Yoga Centre to continue it’s invaluable practice with the aid of the auction proceeds
